You already know about all of the “tried and true” promotional methods available to Internet Marketers. Everyone knows about how to build the list, make a few websites, and get traffic with articles. By now you’ve probably read dozens if not hundreds of articles and books about all of the ways that you can get eyes on to what you have to sell or offer. Seldom as any of this information unique. More importantly, these methods, after a while, can become quite boring. To help you get more traffic to your site in a creative way, we wrote this article.

You probably already know that you need a Facebook page that people can “like.” Obviously, you know that you have been informed of how essential it is to socialize with the visitors who arrive on your site. Chances are you are very versed in how to promote your Facebook page. Why note create a regular Facebook account for your business that will let you friend people as well as get them to like you? This creates a more personal connection. It may not land you many advertising opportunities, but you will be seen by your customers.

Also, it will let your customers witness for themselves that money is not the only reason that you are doing this.

Make some stickers with your website’s name and URL on them and leave them strategically about your local area. This does not mean that you should slap them up on any old surface. Place the stickers generally anywhere that people in your targeted niche will be. All they have to do is remove the backing to use them. You could put these in the subway, or on bulletin boards that receive a lot of traffic from passersby. Do not stick them directly to public surfaces though or you could get in big trouble!

One of the best ways to market your business is to use ballpoint pens. Pens are always in demand since people lose them all the time. You can have dozens of pens made with barrels that display your website URL for a relatively small cost and then leave them in places where people are likely to need pens: the bank, the grocery store, the library. One way to get exposure (and this is only recommended if you are sly enough to accomplish it!) Is to go to the bank, put your pens and with theirs, and wait for the traffic to come your way. Try to blend in as you replace the pens. Just leave a few. If you leave more than that, they might catch on to what you are doing.

There are so many creative things that you can do to promote your endeavors. You have the opportunity to devise new angles that no one else has thought of yet. Do not be afraid to challenge your capabilities and see what you can really do. If you created an item that is not effective, then start working on a new technique that is successful. You don’t know what will work until you try it.
